Lake Poinsett Fishing

Lake Poinsett is part of the St. Johns River chain of lakes and is known as a good bass and crappie fishing lake. Lake Poinsett connects to Lake Winder through what locals call the "middle river". You can catch trophy bass on Lake Poinsett in the winter and early spring using live shiners, plastic worms, and spinnerbaits.
